WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION

EMPOWERING WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION: RESOURCES FOR SUPPORT, GROWTH, AND WELL-BEING

At CIASP, we recognize the unique challenges faced by women in the construction industry and we’re committed to supporting their mental health, safety, and professional development every step of the way.

Women make up a growing and vital part of the construction workforce, yet they often navigate environments where isolation, bias, and lack of representation can impact their well-being. That’s why we’ve curated a dedicated hub of resources tailored to the needs of women in construction, from mental health support and peer networks to leadership development and workplace advocacy.

Let’s build a stronger, safer, and more inclusive construction industry, one woman at a time.

Behind the Hard Hat

Behind the Hard Hat is CIASP’s annual initiative recognizing the incredible women shaping the construction industry. Honorees are nominated by members of the construction community and represent leadership and impact across the job site, office, education and training, community, and other vital areas of the industry. Nominations open each February, with winners announced in March during Women in Construction Week. Below, we proudly feature the 2025 Behind the Hard Hat.

Nominations for 2026 are now open. Submit your 2026 Behind the Hard Hat nominee here.
